Here is another awesome guest post from my favorite brother David Tendrich.

Take it away David!

Copywriting is pretty friggin cool.

I mean, where else can you type up a few words, send’em out to the world, and make thousands of dollars, instantly?

Not too many places (I mean, unless you’re an author or something).

Do you write copy?

If not, why not!?

Don’t you see how cool it is? If you already do write your own copy, then skip this next part, but if you don’t, then…

Place a mental checkmark next to any of these ideas below that are holding you back from writing your own copy…

I’m not a good writer

It’s way too difficult

You need to know crazy psychological tactics to get people to buy

I just don’t know where to start

I don’t have the time

Ninjas cut off my finger tips so I can’t type
Unless you placed a mental checkmark next to the last idea there, you ALREADY ARE a killer copywriter… you just don’t know it…

Let me explain…

Have you ever sold someone your training or boot camp in person?

The same exact process is used in writing copy. For instance, when you sell someone in person, you probably:

Find out why they want to lose weight

Find out what parts of their bodies they want to tone up the most

Find out what’s kept them from joining a program in the past

Find out what they’re skeptical/hesitant about

And then, you tell them how through your program:

They’ll lose weight in every one of the spots they listed

The things that held them back in the past no longer matter because (insert reasons here)

Why your program can be trusted, and why everything they’re skeptical about doesn’t apply to your program

And then, you get a client!

Why? Because you’ve listened to what their problems are, and offered them a very specific solution.

In copywriting, you do the SAME thing – only rather than doing it one person at a time – you do it to as many people you can get to your website.

So if you know the process of selling someone in person – you can sell them in type (unless ninjas cut off your finger tips – if that’s the case, you should look into dictation software).

Now, you might be wondering…

“How do I find out answers to all of these questions? I mean, when I sell someone in person, I ask them, and then I respond based on their answers. So how do I do this without that person telling me?”

Very simple.

Simply accumulate all of the answers to these questions from as many of your existing clients as you can. Find out which answers are the most common, and then talk about them in your copy.

For example…

If 9/10 women in your boot camp want toned thighs and arms – then in your copy that’s your focus point.

And as a bonus you can throw in stomach, hips, etc.

Also, if 9/10 of your clients are women – that’s who you want to focus on in your copy.

It’s the EXACT same process you’ve already done, time and time again.

Now it’s time to just write that process down, put it up on a website, and watch as the orders come rolling in.
And just to help you get started…

I’m offering 15 of my brother’s readers a totally FREE 15 min. session where I’ll answer any questions you have about copywriting, or take a look at your site and tell you how to improve it.

I’d take on more, but I’m pretty busy at the moment so I just handle about 15 right now.

So to get your free 15 minute call

Just write me at david.tendrich@gmail.com with the subject “15 min. call” and tell me you want it. Simple as that!

Then we’ll set up a time that’s good for both of us, and make it happen.

Also…

I really hope you’re planning on going to Fitness Business Summit this year – because I’m presenting on copywriting and I’d love to meet you.

Oh, one more thing…

I’m out of town until Monday, so I’ll write you back then and we’ll set up a time for our call.

Talk soon,

David

Hey – Steve here just back from Orlaaaaaando Florida.

We (Me, Bedros, McCombs, Ballantyne, and Delmonte) just completed teaching our first 100k Group Mastermind.

That’s where we take 34 fitness professionals, and lead them stet-by-step to building their very own hundred thousand dollar a year information product.

We had SUCH A BLAST… The ENERGY in this group was AMAZING!

Can you imagine… in the next 12 months, 34 fitness professionals will will make an ADDITIONAL $100k income stream by helping thousands of others with their info products.

For example, “mean” Jannine Murray who is a top personal trainer in Victoria BC will have an info product coming out that is going help women all over the world have the perfect bootie…

And I feel like by helping Jannine, to help make better booties world wide, I’m actually helping create WORLD PEACE.

…What? I do! LOL

One of the coolest parts for me, was to watch my little brother David Tendrich gave a smash hit presentation on how to write money sucking sales copy.

But ya want to hear something funny/cute…

David and his girlfriend Lou Lou, crashed in my hotel room Friday night.

And ya know how it’s usually the guy who spoons the girl…

Well, when I woke up, I looked over and Lou Lou was sleeping behind my bro, holding him, with her arm and leg draped over him.

He looked so sweet in Lou Lou’s arms…

Like a little baby gazelle being help by a lion.

And I had a little moment LOL…

But here’s what I want you to check out…

My brother just did a KILLER fitness marketing guest post on how to do a super genius Thanksgiving promo

So now without further ado -

Take it away David!!

Hey, it’s David -

…And I’ve got a killer Thanksgiving/ holiday season promotion for you that automatically lends itself to continuity. What I mean by that is after your clients go through this promotion, it naturally leads into them attending your regular boot camp/ training sessions and paying your monthly rate.

Here’s what I mean…

Monday November 30 is the Monday after Thanksgiving. It’s a time when people are anxious to shed the extra pounds they packed on after stuffing their faces with their family and friends.

But wait, there’s more!

That’s because right around the corner from that is another eating frenzy called Christmas! And then there’s another one called New Year’s! Basically, from Thanksgiving until New Year’s people are battling serious weight gain.

So here’s the promotion:

Starting Monday November 30 you begin a “Burn Those Holiday Pounds!” campaign. It’s a 36 day program that goes all the way from November 30 until January 4. That way it covers Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and gets people on track for a few days after the New Year begins. For this 36 day program you’re gonna want to charge around $149.

But here’s the kicker…

Because you’re going into the new year, you can get people on the whole “making resolutions” thing. Towards the end of the 36 days, have people write down resolutions, or just talk about their resolutions with them. Then ask them what they’re going to do about their fitness goals.

Regardless of what they say, tell them you have a great idea for them – joining your training/ boot camp!

If you’re not sure of what to say you can say something like this:

“Hey, we’ve got a great program here that is sure to help you accomplish every one of your resolutions. It’s really similar to what you’ve been doing these 36 days, too, only it’s year round so for the entire year you’re going to look great and be in great shape. The program costs just $xxx a month and that’s for X training sessions every week of every month. If you’re interested then come talk to me after today’s boot camp/ training.”

So let’s do the math for a second…

Say you got 20 people to join your 36-day program for $149.

That’s $2980 you make right off the bat.

Now say 10 of those people stay with you after the program ends.

If you charge $199 a month, then you just pulled in an extra $1990 a month.

And that’s if you get just 20 people. The great thing about having your own business is you can bring in as many clients as you can get. Set a goal for how many you want ,and go out and do it!

How to advertise…

Here are the 2 ways I’d go about getting the word out for this:

1. Make a series of Craigslist ads and start posting this week, all the way through the end of next week…

2. Go out and talk to people the week of Thanksgiving (the malls will be PACKED)

Using some of the sales scripts my brother has talked about in some of his other posts will work like a charm.

Can’t wait to hear how it works for you.

-David

p.s. I’ll be discussing this idea and others that you have in the comments with you.

Be sure to visit David’s blog to learn more of his killer cash-pulling sales copy writing strategies

And to get David’s input, be sure to leave a comment or any questions ya have below so he can answer all of them.

Guest post by David Tendrich (My little bro)

But before you read this AMAZING post and instantly become a better “cash pulling” sales copy writer…Check out this footage of what happened when the Hochman’s and the Keuilian’s went to San Diego

Now read this…

Nope, no typo in the title….

These truly are 2 solutions to 1, 000 mistakes. Actually, it’s probably way more mistakes than that, because people make these mistakes so many times throughout one individual website that when you add’em all up, it’s probably closer to like . . . 1, 005.

And it’s these 2 solutions that determine if all of the copy you’re writing from the first word you put down is going to be on the right track, or on, well, the only other option, the wrong track?

1. The most important thing in copywriting…

Here are the most important things you need in copywriting:

A brain. Preferably a human brain.

I’m not really sure where I’m going with this. I don’t really have a list of 3 things

I might be out of my mind

I’m almost certain that the most important thing in copywriting is being able to “Connect to whoever is reading what you wrote”. And what’s the best way to do that?

I find it’s to talk to your audience….

This sounds simple, but it’s so powerful. The key word there is “talk.” Pretend you’re actually talking to your audience!

If you were in a face-to-face conversation, what would you say to sell your business?

Here’s a simple exercise…

Think about a client you already have, and imagine what that person’s problem is, and how you can fix it.

Then imagine yourself telling that person all about how you’re going to help them solve their problem.

Tell them exactly what they want to hear! Do you think they want constant reminders about their problem?

Or solutions and motivation to do something about it? Or maybe a bit of both? I don’t know the answer to this, because I’m not writing to your market.

You know your clients, and what works for them and what doesn’t, so use that knowledge to write to other potential clients. And write down every word you would say to them, because it’s going to make great copy.

Here’s another exercise…

Imagine that same client, only pretend you’d never met them before. If they knew absolutely nothing about you and your business, what would you have to tell them to get them to come try out your business?

Write this down too, because it’ll make excellent copy.

Here’s another simple test to see if you’re on the right track:

If you were in a conversation, could you use the same language you’re using in your copy?

2. Become A Caterer! Deliver The Yummy Food Of Emotion!

Your readers are human. Let me restate that – your readers, you know, the people who read what you write… they’re human!

Human beings, to be more precise. From the planet Earth. There’s about 6 billion of them, and your readers are each ONE out of that 6 billion.

Heavy stuff, I know. Your job is to find a way to make them forget this!

Not he human part, or the earth part, but the 6 billion of them part. Find a way to make your reader feel like 1 out of 1, rather than 1 out of 6 billion. The best way to do this is to cater to your reader’s emotions.

If they’re frustrated, angry, even hurt by their physical appearance, then be comforting, uplifting, and compassionate towards them.

Think To Yourself….

“If I were 200 pounds overweight, what would a personal trainer have to tell me for me to hire them?

Also, for someone to seek out a personal trainer or boot camp, they’re basically admitting, “I don’t like my body the way it is, can you help me?”

That puts them in a really vulnerable position, which is a GREAT place for a potential client to be and here’s why.

The more vulnerable someone is to you and your message,
the more willing they are to read what you write.

Take advantage of this! Give them what they want! They want someone who understands their frustration, their pain, and who has a way out. Be that someone.

Ask Yourself ???

“Why is this person coming to me? What do they REALLY want from me?”

To answer that question, think about this . . .

If they’re fat, do they really want to be skinny? If you immediately think “of course!” then I invite you to research indigenous cultures in Africa where being fat is considered an honor.

Sumo wrestlers are revered and praised, too. In these cultures, skinny people are the ones with body-image issues.

Well, here in America it’s not honorable to be fat. In fact, people who are fat are constantly made fun of and ostracized. So the question is…do your potential clients really want to be skinny, or do they want to feel accepted?

Because if they were in that culture in Africa, people would love them inside and out, and they might not want to be so lean.

Here’s the key:

If you can figure out what people REALLY REALLY want in their heart of hearts from you and your business, then you can promise them you’ll give it to them in your copywriting.

And then there’s no way they’ll turn you down. It’ll take some deep reflection, but once you uncover what they really want, you have unstoppable copy.

David Tendrich designs cash pulling Craigslist ads and websites, and is one cool mofo (I’m not just saying that cuz he’s my bro either)

I’ve been literally getting 15-20 emails a day asking me two questions.

When am I gonna come out with PROJECT X?

What the hell is PROJECT X?

But what’s funny is, besides going back and forth with Bedros on Twitter about how PROJECT X will dominate – This is the first time I have ever OFFICIALLY leaked anything out about it.

First, let me tell you WHY I created PROJECT X.

Here’s what happened…

By now, you may have heard Internet marketing superstar Chris McCombs referring to me as the “GURU” OF GROUP TRAINING -

Hell, he’ll even tell you that I was the guy that taught HIM how to do it right, when he was a trainer at my fitness studio.

And I’ll tell you straight up, It felt damn good pulling in 250k a year while group training a measly 18 hours a week.

That is, until I accidentally stumbled upon PROJECT X.

But just for the record, it wasn’t all me.

Bedros Keuilian had A LOT TO DO WITH IT!!!!

Don’t get me wrong though, before I teamed up with Bedros, PROJECT X was already a monster money-making machine – Bedros just put wings, after-burners and sidewinder missiles on it…

He made it super-sonic $$

So to answer the question of what PROJECT X is, first let me tell you a little bit of what PROJECT X does.

Never again worry about websites, SEO or Internet marketing

Get a built in base of 250-2000 hot leads from day number one

Train 1-2 hours a day while easily pulling in six figures.

If you use just ONE of my automatic lead generation systems you can reach six figures in only 3 months

It can be grown to seven figures.

It is leveragable (meaning if you ever wanted to stop training you could – while STILL earning six-figures)

Creates massive amounts of freedom for you

Never again worry about having “security”

Spend WAY more time doing what YOU really want to do

Gives you a series of simple automatic lead generating systems

Prevents you from EVER getting burnt out.

Get clients AUTOMATICALLY – Even in your sleep

Gives you instant EXPERT and CELEBRITY status

Automatically gets you on the news several times a year

Get your clients the fastest most INSANE results ever

And that’s just a glimpse of what PROJECT X DOES

And PROJECT X literally towers over EVERYTHING else out there.

Finally, you can taste the POWER and FREEDOM of easily making six-figures within 3 months – and only training clients 1-2 hours a day.

Finally, no more burning yourself out, working an INSANE amount of hours each and every week.

Finally a fitness business in-a-box that does EVERYTHING for you AUTOMATICALLY.

Finally someone GOT IT RIGHT!

But Just hang in there a little bit longer, PROJECT X is almost here.

And at the Fitness Business Summit 09 in May I will be pre-releasing a VERY LIMITED number of PROJECT X beta versions.

So get a HUGE jumpstart on your competition by being the first to get your PROJECT X

Even If you go to the summit and decide not to get your PROJECT X, at least you’ll be prepared when this thing officially goes public.

I think there may be one or two spots left for the Fitness summit…

Ps. you will seriously kick your own ass if you miss out on this.

To NOT kick your own ass, click here

Don’t forget to click here

Last week one of my favorite trainers (Who is smoking hot!!!) sent me a pretty crazy text.

Here is what it said.

“Hey Steve, here’s the real deal. My boyfriend and I broke up a week ago and I moved out. I’ve been living out of my car and staying with friends all over Orange County and it’s really starting to suck. I need to blow up my business HUGE in the next 3-6 weeks cuz if I don’t by then, I’ll have run out of places to stay. Can I do this and will you help me?”

So I did what anyone in my position would have done… I told her she can stay with me (Kidding)

I said I would help her create a what I call a “Human Billboard” lead generating email.

Now, for an email to be a lead magnet it has to have what I call the big 3:

1. An attention grabbing subject line. If your subject line looks spamy or boring, it won’t get opened.

2. A compelling story. This is critical because it gets your prospects defenses down and softens them up for your pitch. If you don’t give your prospect a darn good reason for your special offer, then they will be skeptical.

3. A clear CALL TO ACTION. You gotta tell them exactly what to do, how to do it, and what they will miss out on if they don’t do it right away.

I cut and pasted the exact email that pulled $3,315 in 4 days below.

See if you can figure out why it worked so well…

(BTW she also included a really COOL video!!!)

Hey Joan,

I am just going to be radically honest with you…

I-desperately-need-your-help and I am going to ask you to do something.

Bear with me, I’ll explain why in just a second.

Remember how lean and happy I was 3 years ago?

Well for a period of time I slowly started packing on the pounds causing my jeans to get tighter and tighter until I could no longer fit into them.

And what’s worse, every time I upended my closet, those skinny jeans just hung there looking at me feeling sad and neglected.

I became a workout maniac.

Literally 2 hours everyday I would sweat my butt off on the treadmill and then workout like a crazy woman in the weight room…

And get this, I ate the most boring, bland “health food” on the planet but I just could NOT fit into my “skinny” jeans.

I started to get really depressed.

At this point I was getting ready to just except that I would be trapped in this body for-the-rest-of-my-life.

Then I accidentally stumbled upon an amazing fitness formula and within 27 days I slipped back into my “skinny” jeans.

And get this – I didn’t have to stick to a strict diet or spend hours in the gym.

But let me go back to the beginning to continue the story.

I lost a majority of my clients who all worked at the same mortgage company that went under.

And I’m in a dangerous situation because I cannot afford to advertise but If I don’ t do something I’m going to be living on the streets!

So here’s where you can help me with my unconventional idea.

My plan is to help 20 people to fit back into THEIR “skinny” jeans by practically giving away my personal training services.

I feel the shocking results will speak much loader then words and you and the other 19 people can act as “human billboards”

Would you agree?

I think if I could help like 20 people fit back into their skinny jeans, then the results would speak louder than words and blow up my business.

Don’t you think?

I really don’t have the extra money to help me promote my personal training so I thought the three of us (you, me and your skinny jeans) could take advantage of my situation.

I want to help you slip back into that pair of jeans hanging up in your closet, because it’s the best feeling in the world putting those pants back on.

I have my body back!

I ask that you help me blow up my business by getting these crazy results for $15 a session and being one of my human billboards.

Don’t get me wrong.

I know it’s ridiculously cheap, but I really think it will help keep me off the streets and definitely help you get fit and sexy.

I get so happy looking in the mirror and thinking to myself “Is that really me? Yeah… it is!” When’s the last time you said that to yourself?

To help this girl out BIG time, here’s what you do.

Call my cell at 123-456-7891

Thank You so much!!!
