So that’s what a client pulling 2.0 display ad is all about.

And as I’m sure you already know, fitness marketing is getting more competitive every day so ya gotta stay ahead of the curve if ya know what I mean :)

    This is a great idea, but where do you put them? Do you give them to businesses to hand out or display? Or do you hand them out to random people, existing clients, etc. I do the postcards (w/out the plastic card).

    Great copy and graphics also Steve, what program did you use? Do you have a similar template for mailed postcards?

    Oprah: “Welcome everyone to the Oprah Winfrey show and thanks so much for watching. Today we have a very special guest on the show. His name is Steve Hochman, and he is here to discuss his self-written book called ‘Be Cool’. Steve, thanks so much for coming today.”

    Steve: “Heyyyyy, I want to thank you for having me! I want to tell you, I feel really warm and fuzzy sitting right here on the couch at Oprah Winfrey.”

    Oprah: “Haha, Steve I want to say that you are a very handsome man – and I must say that I have read your book from beginning to end more than a dozen times… and every time I read it I learn something new!”

    Steve: “Yes, thank you so much. I do a lot of barbell shrugs so my traps can stick out way above my shoulders. I have this one coaching client, Michael, who says it makes me look sexy.”

    Oprah: “Well that Michael-guy has good taste, haha. So Steve, tell me more about your book.. ‘Be Cool’… How did you come up with the idea for it?”

    Steve: “You know what? I thought long and hard…long and hard, about what it is that separates the successful people from the ones that dwell away in life. And the main difference is that you just HAVE to be cool…”

    Oprah: “Is that what inspired you to write ‘Be’ on the first page, and ‘Cool’ on the second page?… and then have that be your entire book?”

    Steve: “Well… Oprah… a lot of thought when into my writing, and I certainly didn’t want to overdo it. I feared that if I made the book too long, the message might get lost. Like not being able to see the trees because the forest is standing in the way…”

    Oprah: “I see”

    Steve: “So when after 6 months I had finally completed my first page, I knew I had to write a second page… just to get my point across”

    Oprah: “I love it.”

    Steve: “hmmm…”

    Oprah: “And what I like furthermore, is that on page 2 you say the word ‘cool’ – can you elaborate a little further on this?”

    Steve: “Absolutely! See.. cool is really better than anything else. Cool is the best. And I am the best. In fact… can I tell you something?”

    Oprah: “Please do”

    Steve: “Well, I am a not your average male. Sometimes… Sometimes I feel like I am a lion. Where all the other men out there pretend to be lions, I am the only one that is a real lion and is not neutered. And sometimes I will have this feeling so deep inside me, that when I type on my keyboard I hit the keys so hard that I have to get a new one.”

    Oprah: “Huh, fascinating.”

    Steve: “….”

    Oprah: *wink*

    Steve: “hmmm…”

    Oprah: “So now, your book has such a huge life lesson in it… where did you come up with it? I mean, are there any people that influenced you in writing it?”

    Steve: “Yes, there is a man… a man called Bedros Keuilian. We met at a California Pizza Kitchen and we hit it off right from the get-go. I had the opporunity to inflitrate his mind and that made me even more of a warrior.”

    Oprah: “He sounds like a jolly fellow.”

    Steve: “Yeah, and he too has big traps & a flat stomach. Sometimes… just to comfort each other… we sit on the couch and rub each others belly.”

    Oprah: “…”

    Steve: “..we keep our socks on.”

    Oprah: “Oh ok, for a minute there.. you had me going.. haha.”

    Steve: “Oprah, you’re such a silly goose.”

    Oprah: “Yes indeed, and I love you for saying it how it is. You are marvelous Steve. We have to go to the commercials now, but I can not WAIT to continue.. right after this…”

    **applause rises in the background, fade to commercials**

    Very nice Steve. Great info once again. Quick question if you do not mind me asking and a little off topic – what software do you use for the screen recording and self recording with the mac?

    Hey Terry,

    I’m pretty lucky that my assistant is also a graphic designer (Ok, it was one of the qualifications they had to have :)

    She creates all that stuff and I’m not sure what program she uses…

    I have not mailed out the post card with the gift card attached… Not sure if the plastic gift card will stay on in the mail… But if it will, I think it would be killer.
