Fitness Marketing Mindset Series #5

Having a mentor can mean the difference between growing your fitness empire as fast a super-sonic jet fighter or as slow as an old propeller plane.
Think about this for a second…
How many goals did you hit last year?
How many clients did you sign up?
How many boot camp locations did you open?
How much progress did you make getting other trainers to work for you?
How much income did you generate?
How much MORE of all this would you have accomplished with the right coach?

Why would you want to waist your time trying to reinvent the wheel, when you can just model yourself after someone who has already accomplished what you want to accomplish.
If you’re serious about crushing it this year, then getting a mentor is huge.
There is no way I would be anywhere near where I am today if it wasn’t for having the right coaches in my life.
It’s not that you can’t, or wont be successful without one, maybe you will…
But it’s so cool to know that you can push FULL SPEED AHEAD because you know that 100% of your efforts are going in the right direction.
But getting the right coach is key.
So would we be a good “fit”
Well I’m not sure, that depends if you feel you can benefit from my expertise and experience.
*I have owned a jam packed personal training studio that virtually runs on auto-pilot for 9 years.
*I opened 6 six-figure boot camp locations over 7 months… All run by other trainers while I sleep.
*I opened a boot camp franchise with my partner Bedros in under 8 months, with over 100 locations worldwide (and growing at light speed)
*I have multiple internet income streams.
*I’ve written fitness website sales copy that in just over 4 months produced more than 100 clients and $18k per month re-occurring income… All from the internet.
*Because of my seo (search engine optimization) knowledge, all my websites show up on the first page of Google.
*I make 100% of my income without having to train a single client, so I am free to do what ever I want, when ever I want.
So why am I telling you all this?
It’s not to brag, but I wanted you to clearly see how getting coached by someone who’s already “done-it” can cause you to accomplish your “dream” 10, 20 even 100x’s faster.
But I would not be honest if I told you that your gonna have all this by magic.
You have to be ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work.
You have to not WANT success, but be 100% COMMITTED to success.
If you are dead set on not just wanting your dream, but living it, then I am beyond pumped to coach you ever step of the way, and show you every secret, shortcut and resource to making your dreams a reality.
If you don’t get coached by me, make sure you get coaching somewhere else… It’s critical.

Here’s to crushing it in 2010,
Steve

Hey Steve…. Sweet series of videos. Do you find it odd that in this post
http://www.stevehochman.com/2009/12/31/fitness-marketing-mindset-series-1/)
I left you a comment about how I am adopting you as my mentor this year? Dude, if I had the funds, I would be making your coaching program happen for me. Some how, some way…. in the near future, I will create the funds so that I can get you on my team. Thanks for the work that you do for us.

Hey Steve, what advice will you give me in alligning myself with an appropriate mentor in my local community. who are they? what are the best ways to seek them out and get them on board for little or no investment? In YOUR opinion what are the characteristics to look for in choosing a great mentor.

Great post Steve. Getting a coach is one of the best things you can do for your business. There’s nothing like having that one person that can give you fair, impartial advice…. or tell you to get off your ass and go do something…. or be your biggest cheerleader…. or look at things from “I’ve done it” eyes.
It may hurt a little bit financially, but feel the pain and go for it.
