Hey – Bedros and I are just getting ready to leave Las Vegas and head back home.
We had a blast and got TONS of stuff done
(Be sure and ask me about the “little incident” when you see me and my bro David at the Fitness Info Summit
But before we take off, I wanted to show you a simple, but POWERFUL client getting strategy that my brother David uses for Craigslist.
So if ya want to get boat-loads of clients for free of of CL, then check out this strategy below.
And if you interested in jumping on board the worlds most dominating boot camp system, before your territory is gone for good, then go here.
Ok, now check out this killer craigslist fitness marketing strategy.
Here’s one more tested-to-work secret from my brother David’s Craigslist bag o’ tricks
David Tendrich here (Steve’s bro). Today I’m revealing my Craigslist posting schedule that I’ve only shared with paying clients until this point. That’s because it’s highly tested, and will have you at the top of the list in 3 different categories, 7 days a week.
This schedule requires:
- 12 quality ads…
- And it requires dedication, commitment, and consistency…
Because it will only get you GREAT results if you stick with it every day. If you use it just every once in a while I can’t promise you’ll see that great of results.
But if you think spending 5 minutes every day posting ads (or getting your assistant to) is a good trade for getting up to 5 clients in one week (which are the results some of our clients have gotten from this schedule), then this posting schedule should be right up your alley.
You’ll notice that the schedule only goes up to Tuesday. That’s because on Wednesday, you delete Monday’s ads and start the cycle over…
Then you just keep going at it like the Energizer Bunny.
But seriously, if you stick to this schedule, and if you have solid ads, then this schedule CANNOT fail.
“Here it is… Your Done-for-You Craigslist Posting Schedule for EXTREME results…”
Monday (9 am):
- Services – Lessons & Tutoring
- Ad 1
- Services – Beauty Services
- Ad 2
- Community – General
- Ad 3
Monday (5 pm)
- Services – Lessons & Tutoring
- Ad 4
- Services – Beauty Services
- Ad 5
- Community – General
- Ad 6
Tuesday (9 am):
- Services – Lessons & Tutoring
- Ad 7
- Services – Beauty Services
- Ad 8
- Community – General
- Ad 9
Tuesday (5 pm):
- Services – Lessons & Tutoring
- Ad 10
- Services – Beauty Services
- Ad 11
- Community – General
- Ad 12
Wednesday – Delete Monday’s ads (this is important to prevent getting flagged, and CL will like you better) and start all over again for COMPLETE Craigslist Domination!
Then just continue the pattern into Thursday… Friday… Saturday… etc…
Also try Community – Activity Partners from time to time, or if there are other categories in your area that work better, use those instead, because every area is a little different. These categories are what I’ve found and tested to be strong overall though.
This is why this schedule is so powerful:
- You’re dominating THREE CATEGORIES every single day…
- By posting in each category twice a day, you’ll be at the top of the list morning, noon, and night… Which means more clicks, more calls, and more clients…
- By deleting the ads, you’re not going to get flagged, and you can keep recycling the ads over and over again, making this schedule SIMPLE and EASY… Once you create 12 ads, you’re done for life!
Until next time,
David

I actually tried your strategy, but used other categories like travel, groups, activities, etc…. And have gotten great results. The only thing that sucks about this method, is that you have to relentless and do it everyday.
I never tried your method of deleting posts from 2 days ago and reposting. I thought that was a no no by craigslist’s rules.
I do agree that it is better to have your assistant do it for you because this can be a rigorous chore to do but it is very effective.
Thanks for the advice, I will try your method out this week.

Leanne -
I’m looking forward to seeing you too! Just a few days from now!
Christian -
You could call it relentless… but really when you break it down it’s about 2 minutes in the morning and 2 minutes in the evening. But you’re right – it’s every day. But for me, when I was using this to advertise my guitar lessons business, it was always worth it when I’d get 1-2 clients consistently every week (at the minimum).
Best of luck! Feel free to e-mail me at DTendrich@gmail.com to let me know how it goes and if you have any questions.
Peace,
David

David,
Great post!
Quick Question: Don’t you need to use more than one email address to post like this?
I like using the same ad and changing the title or using the same title and changing the ad. If I use 3 different email addresses I can successfully post without getting flagged on a routine basis. Some weeks CL seems to flag just randomly and I can’t figure out why.
What experience & advice do you have with this?
Thanks!
Bob Garon

Great post…
My question is…what about Groups and activities?
If you get the chance find David and have him work his magic for you with his Craigslist Dominator ads…I hired him months ago and I’m extremely happy with his work

Hey Bob,
I’ve never been a big fan of using just one ad because I like to test different ads. And when people respond to my ads, I like to find out why they responded to them. Then I can make ads based on the strong points of each of my ads, based on the feedback of people who called me.
Also, as long as you keep deleting, you won’t get flagged. However there’s a trick to this that I forgot to mention in the blog post… Maybe I’ll see if Steve can add it in…
The trick is to go on-line, and find 4-5 sentences that have nothing to do with your ad. Copy paste those sentences into the bottom of your ad inside of a HTML tag that says RANDOM TEXT HERE
This will make really tiny text that no one can read – and it will make Craigslist think that you have posted a unique ad.
Thanks for the question!

Oh whoops the HTML didn’t show up. Basically, for each of your ads copy/paste 4-5 random sentences at the very bottom. Look up the HTML for font size so you can make it really tiny and no one can read it.

Ok perfect! Makes sense. Thanks David!

Oh and quick question about flagging…
Are the flags delivered by CL staff or by site viewers? For example: can my competitor flag my post (with the little flagging section in the top right when viewing a post) to have it instantly removed?
Curious exactly how that works.
Thanks again!
Bob

Oh and here is the HTML for the small text on CL…
You’ve Just Found What Will Finally Make You Lose Weight, Get Tone, Have A 10x Stronger And Healthier Body, And Have A Blast In North Aurora, Illinois Ultimate Fat Loss Boot Camp!
You want to have the “”
tag and then the “”
afterward. Without the quotes of course. I put like 10 of each before and after, respectively, my words and it was super small.
Comment by Bob Garon — October 21, 2009 @ 9:52 am
Ah the formatting didn’t come through right. Here it is.
AND
Take out the spaces and have the text between.

Billy -
Thank you man! It’s been a pleasure to work with you
Bob -
Flags can be delivered by either. Yes, unfortunately I don’t think there are any restrictions on flagging people. If someone flags you (even your competition) your post will go down immediately. At least from what I understand.
