I just interviewed THE GREAT Jaya Figueras on his five steps to becoming a badass boot camp instructor.
It was more like his five steps to becoming a BADASS HUMAN… Period.
…And as usual, he over delivered like a mofo!
Jaiya even gives 1 tip that will instantly separate you from 99.9 percent of other boot camp instructors and personal trainers.
One of the coolest things about this interview is that Jaiya explains his 5 principles of success in such a simple way… ANYONE can do it.

But I’ve gotta WARN YOU!
The first 11 minutes and 39 seconds of this interview are NOT for t he easily offended or easily grossed out!
However, if you’re like me, you’ll laugh your ass off because it has to do with two VERY EMBARRASSING things that happened to Jaiya LOL
So it’s your choice…
Skip the hilarious but gross stories and start the audio at 11 minutes and 30, or, BRACE YOURSELF and listen to the whole enchilada!

Great interview boys.
Hey, at one time or another we’ve all crapped ourselves accidentally, haven’t we : ) or is that just me and Jaya. Fair to say my dilemma wasn’t having a roomful of clients waiting for me. Ha!
Thanks for the info and your site looks great as well
Completely agree with attitude. What use is the best training and nutrition principles if you ain’t got your campers or clients in the right frame of mind.
I reckon fewer fail becasue of bad training methods than they do because their attitude stopped them from making the right choices.
Thanks again boys
Mike

Hey thanks Mike!
I was a little nervous about this interview getting out. Steve told me it would be edited with his cutting edge equipmant.
On a cleaner note:
I’m glad I could get these 5 principles out to you.
The A.R.F.-M.C. system is a combination of some of the most competitive and victorious athletes and coaches that this country has produced.
When I first met Steve, I knew he was made of these same ingredients and that is why I have always turned to him over the years whenever I have any challenges or ideas.
I believe in his philosophy and it has helped me throughout my life.
Thanks for the comment on the site!
I cant tell you how many times I tweak that thing to even come close to Chris “The Wizard” McCombs!
More stuff to come!

Now, that’s some funny shit!! hahaha
It’s cool that you guys understand the laws f the universe, as well as good vibrations.
Everything gives off a vibration: People, trees, flowers, animals, everything…
People are attracted to those that give off similar vibrations, even if they are not aware of it.
This is true for both our personal and business lives.
Thanks for the laugh.
Peace.

Steve
1. gross – true and so funny (unless it is you) – then its like “dude, it’s really not funny at all – stop laughing – seriously – i thought you were my friend lmfao!)”
2. I really don’t want to waste my energy on css, html, or other stuff I prefer not to understand. Id rather do restaurant reviews, videos and audio interviews and provide content to my viewers.
Can you recommend a designer or someone that can create a unique custom template, header, etc. for my blog. I really like something similar to yours or chris or anything like super-trainer (kaisers) – just something not generic. can you point me in any direction that might save me a lot of time??????????????????????????????????
3.is semiologic really easy to “get” after you play around with it for a bit?

Awesome interview. Jaiya you hit the nail on the head with this one. I like how you broke your 5 principles of success down to a tee. Makes so much sense and it is so simple if you think about it. I know Steve has made such a positive impact on your life as he has done for me. I’m stoked to see Steve’s wisdome help so many people succeed. I am a work in progress and I am so excited to see what my future holds because I know it is going to be freakin amazing. Jaiya you got some pretty shity stories man (lol).

That day was legendary and I was actually honored that it was the funniest thing to ever take place at Steves kick ass gym: Next Level Fitness.
All jokes aside, I really did pick up learning about quantum physics and the law of attraction (thoughts are things from Napolean Hill’s Book Think and Grow Rich) being around Steve and Chris McCombs.
I also learned a lot about it from a video called What The Bleep Do We Know Part 2: Down the Rabbit Hole.
I watched that thing about 50 times until I finally got it through my head that we can actually affect and leverage the universe with our minds.
Super Trippy Sh*t and a little hippy sounding but eye opening and it helped me explode my biz so I did it!

Positive, fun, edgy… and he gets people into incredible shape

One of the most important things to do as a trainer is to look around you and realize if you are surrounded by champions.
There was a time when me, Steve, and Chris were all training under the same roof.
We all got to feed off of each other and everyday was like a workshop.
I realized that I was surrounded by greatness and got an opportunity to sit down with both Chris and Steve and be a sponge to their motivation and success.
Look around your camp and see if you have a “Chris McCombs” or a “Steve Hochman” in progress around you.
Feed off of each other and help each other grow.
Alot of times we are looking for the winning team and we think we have to buy them in books or travel thousands of miles. Partner up with people you trust and realize that the time you physically have together is special and temporary.
People will move to other cities, states, or just get so damn busy you might be able to talk to them about 2 or 3 times a year.
That’s what happened at Steve’s Gym Next Level Fitness:The Greatest Gym on Earth.
He taught us all how to be 6 figure trainers and we had no choice to step up and play big.
Learn from champions, grow to greatness, and play big. Really fu*ken big.

Jaiya – listened to your interview during my workout & I loved it.
I’m a big advocate of prioritizing your recovery & food (fuel). It’s amazing how many people miss out on simple elements like that. Somehow if you treat your body horrible you end up giving horrible service, then it turns into a negative spiral.
And hey that’s one bad ass Expert Lion on your website.
Comment by Michael Duivis — May 28, 2009 @ 4:55 am
Mr. Lion was actually trainer over at Steve’s gym: Next Level Fitness.
I heard he is supposed to do some guest post coming up here pretty soon!
